I've never actually posted a process pic before, so here you go. (WARNING LARGE FILE)
I forgot to do some saving between one and two, but here's a little description from left to right: (this is all on one layer, btw) 1. quick messy sketch on background 2. lay down skin tones light shading 3. shadows and refine a bit to blend a little more into surroundings. scales and fins 4. lay out basic hair 5. refine hair and add little touching ups 6. color process and texture. MOST IMPORTANT STEP. Don't fav. Scrap later. EDIT: LOL WHEN I SAY DON'T FAV YOU GUYS NEVER LISTEN. /ANGRY Finished product here: [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
